"Space Age Love Song" - A Flock Of Seagulls
The band couldn't come up with a title for the song, so lead guitarist Paul Reynolds suggested "Space Age Love Song" because he thought the song literally sounded like a space age love song.
"Panama" - Van Halen
Though the song was reportedly written about fast cars, David Lee Roth later admitted that it was also about a stripper he met in Arizona.
"Never Surrender" - Corey Hart
Corey Hart said the inspiration for the song came from his mother. He said, "My mother influenced me with this ethic of never quitting on yourself or your dreams no matter how challenging or daunting."
"Let's Go All The Way" - Sly Fox
Often thought to be about consummating a relationship, singer Gary "Mudbone" Cooper says it's about "Whatever your goal, dream or vision, you should go all the way to get it."
