There are a lot of skeptics in the world who will never be convinced of the existence of UFOs.
However, a new survey commissioned by Beavertown Brewery via Study Finds has found that one in three people believe they've encountered an actual, for real, Unidentified Flying Object in the wild.
37% of people claim they've witnessed something "out of the ordinary" taking place in the sky, and though 35% convinced themselves it was just an optical illusion, 45% of the poll-takers say they've believed in aliens and UFOs for as far back as they can remember.
One in four folks even call themselves "true believers" in extraterrestrial life.
While 43% of people believe "the truth is out there," one in three say they actively go look for UFOs, with the same number of people have come up with their own stories for an unexplainable event they witnessed.
A Beavertown spokesperson said in a statement, "There are lots of strange happenings in the sky and people should feel encouraged to share their stories, especially on days like World UFO Day. There are more believers out there than we think and we want to celebrate them over a pint."
