With 700,000 Rangers fans celebrating the team's first World Series at the parade Friday, you knew to expect some hijinks.
Honestly, we expected a lot more!
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 13 total arrests were made at the Rangers parade on Friday, including:
-Five public intoxication arrests
-Two DWI arrests
-One evading arrest
-One fighting in public arrest
-Two drug-related arrests
Additionally, two other arrests were made after shots were fired in a parking lot at AT&T Stadium following an argument that led to a physical altercation. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
There were also multiple instances where individuals along the parade route were caught trying to climb signs, light poles, and traffic signals.
Police officers instructed those folks to come down for their safety and the safety of others around them, but no arrests were made connected to those instances.
