However, some questions about the nature of their relationship have arisen, as the teen's soulmate is 76-years-old.
D'Anna posted video of the proposal on TikTok, where it has garnered over 20 million views. The teen captioned the video, "This is only the beginning of a long relationship."
Of course, people had some thoughts. And some questions.
One viewer stated per the New York Post, "I have so many questions," while another added, "Oh hell no!"
And some people even questioned the foundations of the relationship, with one person asking, "How many billions does Grandma have in her account?"
Some even believe the proposal to be an elaborate prank, with the woman actually being D'Anna's grandmother.
D'Anna, however, seems determined to prove their relationship is authentic, sharing more loved-up posts in the days following his proposal.
In one clip, the teen wrote "Siamo anime gemelle," or "We are soul mates."
