Yesterday at the Collin County Administration Building, it was a nonstop carousel of weddings.
From 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Judge Raleeh presided over the weddings for couples who wanted to get married on 2/22/22.
Judge Raleeh performed 49 weddings in total throughout the day, telling every couple who walked into the courtroom, "A good marriage has to be created. It's never being too old to hold hands."
Some of the couples were into numerology, and some just thought it would be 'cool' to be married on the day. And some of the grooms were just excited to have their wedding on a day they could easily remember!
One bride told WFAA, "Two twenty-two twenty-two, just for the two of us."
