Cayson Collins was first diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3. Now 7, he's already faced his second battle, and after a successful bone marrow transplant, he won!

Cayson was welcomed home from Texas Children's Hospital this past Friday afternoon with a motorcade consisting of Houston police officers, the fire department, and Harris County Sheriff's deputies accompanying him on his ride home to Seabrook.

The transplant was so successful, Cayson was allowed to return home several weeks earlier than scheduled! His mother Courtney told ABC 13, "This was crazy. I was not expecting any of this."

With Cayson finally returning home after his two bouts, Courtney has a new perspective on life. She says, "Take it one day at a time. Be thankful for the little things, folding laundry, doing dishes, moments with your kids. It's just one day at a time, one foot in front of the other."
