We head back into the workplace for our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning, and focus on a team lead who apparently isn’t doing too much “leading” these days.
Anonymous sent us an e-mail about her boss who hasn’t really taken a new employee under her wing, and has seemingly left him to fend for himself as he tries to adjust to his new role.

Anonymous writes that this new employee “is making mistakes that I know he has not been shown or told how to do it.” Her team lead is also suspect and of him and questions his competency because he is “shy and straight out of college.”
Anonymous wants to tell her team lead to just be patient with the new employee, but she is worried about her reaction and the possibility of damaging their relationship. She says she was able to pick up the job easily and get on her good side.
However, Anonymous is stuck on what to do now.
She feels that if she goes to their boss and let her know what's happening, she will address it straight on, and her team lead will end up knowing that she said something.
Anonymous is also concerned that this new employee will just NOT ask questions! She’s not sure if he is too shy, too proud, or just too scared of our team lead.
She’s wondering if she should bring this to our boss’s attention or just let things play out as they will.
Our boss asked our team lead to train him so she has been given this task but is just not doing it like it should be done. And she ends her email: “Help!”
