Due to his success at a very young age thanks to Malcolm in the Middle, Frankie Muniz has had plenty of time to explore other passions in his life, and he found a major one in racecar driving.
In fact, Muniz is all set to turn that passion into a new career as he embarks on becoming a full-time NASCAR driver!
Per E! Online, Muniz will begin his professional NASCAR career at Daytona International Speedway on February 18. He will be driving the No. 30 Ford Mustang for Rette Jones Racing with the hopes of winning an ARCA National Series Championship in 2023.
Muniz released a statement yesterday that read:
Ever since childhood, it's been my dream to pursue racing in NASCAR. I look forward to not only demonstrating my ability on the track and just how serious I am in progressing in my racing career, but also showing my son and family what it is to chase your dreams and re-invent yourself.
Former ARCA championship crew chief Mark Rette has similar high expectations for Muniz,
He said in a statement, "It is not going to be easy, and there will be a learning curve, but with his passion, focus and commitment along with the capabilities of our team, we believe we are going to put him in a position to contend for multiple wins in 2023."
