Hot off the heels of his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home and his upcoming FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven, Andrew Garfield says he will be taking some much needed time away from the limelight.
He told Variety in an interview, "I'm going to rest for a little bit. I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while."
Garfield seemed particularly exhausted following his most recent Oscar nomination for his work in Tick, Tick … Boom! explaining, "Because as you know, that is a washing machine, that awards season," he said. "I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while."
As for what exactly Garfield will be doing to occupy his time, he said during the filming of Under the Banner of Heaven, he would "unwind" from the heavy material with game nights and nature hikes.
Maybe he should get together with Rebekah so they can start a new hobby together!
