A reboot of the popular television series is in the works at British production company Fremantle, who’s been working on bringing back the show ever since acquiring its rights in 2018.

Per Deadline, Fremantle has already been releasing remastered episodes of the show, and would’ve rebooted it sooner had they not experienced rights issues, and not for the 2017 film reboot from Seth Gordon that bombed at the box office.

The series made international stars of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, and it is currently unknown if they will have any involvement.
The reboot is said to be in “very early” development.
