We're exactly two weeks away from opening day at State Fair of Texas. This year, the 55-foot tall mascot who greets you at the gate will be donning some new gear. In honor of Big Tex's 70th birthday (on October 4th), he was outfitted in fresh threads from Dickies.
During the big reveal on Friday, his previous four shirts (all made by Dickies) surrounded the latest addition on the field of the Cotton Bowl. The biggest cowboy in the Lone Star State will be erected on September 23rd, which is one week before the Fair begins.
