Yusaku Maezawa seems to be like a modern day Willy Wonka.
The Japanese billionaire bought the rights to SpaceX's first passenger trip to the moon, scheduled to occur in 2023. Yusaku reportedly paid $250,000 for the tickets, and now, he is looking for people to join him.
Per Market Watch, Yusaku said, "t will take three days to get to the moon, loop behind it, and three days to get back. I will pay for the entire journey . . . I hope that together we can make it a fun trip."
Yusaku is looking for two main qualities in the people he brings aboard: People who want to "push the envelope" to make the world a better place, and people who are willing to support others.
Those who want to apply can do so at Yusaku's website DearMoon.earth, though all applications need to be completed by March 14!
