10-year-old Isacc Young form Allen only wanted one thing for Christmas: he didn't want to spend Christmas in the hospital.
Young suffers from cancer, and has been in the hospital for treatment. Though thankfully, it looks like his wish will come true.
Young was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2, and suffered a relapse at 8. For the last several years, he's spent multiple holidays and birthdays at Children's Health in Plano for radiation and chemo treatments.
This year, he just wanted to spend the holidays away from the hospital, and with his last cancer treatment coming December 22, his wish will come true!
His mom Karen told NBC DFW, "It's a blessing and it's an answer to many, many years of prayer that we're reaching an end to this, and that we get to be together and done in time for the holidays."
Isacc himself added, "It was hard the first few times because we were in the hospital and usually I wasn't feeling good. But I'm happy that we're going to be done before Christmas so I'll be feeling good and I'll have more energy to play with my toys."
