As many Buc-ee’s as there are around Texas, the Texas Panhandle has been unchartered territory for the store.  That is until now.

Buc-ee’s just announced they will soon be breaking ground on their first location in the Panhandle and setting up shop in Amarillo!

Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s said in a press release, “Amarillo is the midpoint between Chicago and Los Angeles on the fabled Route 66.  I can’t think of a better place to put a Buc-ee’s.”

According to MySA.com, Buc-ee’s will break ground on the  74,000 square-foot location October 26th, which will include 108 fuel pumps and 24 electric vehicle charging spots.

The Amarillo store will be located at 9900 East I-40, Amarillo, TX 79118.
