It was an emotional moment for actress Christina Applegate.

She was flanked by her TV mom and brother, Katey Sagal and David Faustino, as she was honored by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

It was Applegate's first public appearance since disclosing her diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis.  She told Variety ahead of the ceremony, "People are going to see me for the first time as a disabled person, and it's very difficult."

Applegate's Dead to Me co-star Linda Cardellini and creator Liz Feldman were also on hand to pay tribute to Applegate.  Sagal choked up when she told Applegate, "You're not alone. We're all here."

Applegate took the podium and thanked her daughter for supporting her through her MS diagnosis.  "The most important person in this world is my daughter.  You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting.

"I'm blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school…thank you for standing by me through all of this," Applegate said.

She also thanked all her "gorgeous" fans in attendance at the ceremony, saying "Every single one of you. I love you [all] so much."

You can watch Applegate's full Walk of Fame ceremony below.

The third and final season of Dead to Me premieres on Netflix this Thursday November 17th.
