How long has mankind been searching for Bigfoot? How many leads and alleged sights have turned out to be fruitless?
Quite a few, but a couple says they have definite video evidence of Bigfoot that they captured while riding on a train through Colorado.
Shannon and Stetson Parker were celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary on a sightseeing tour of Colorado when their train took them between Durango and Silverton, where they spotted the elusive Sasquatch.
Shannon told the NY Post, "We were looking for elk in the mountains and my husband sees something moving and then can't really explain it. So he's like 'Bigfoot!'
"It was at least six, seven feet or taller. It matched the sage in the mountains so much that he's like camouflaged when crouching down…if you asked before our trip we would have said maybe [Bigfoot] could be real, but now we're convinced."
The couple also added the train's conductor told them there have been other "non-human" sighting before as well. Parker said, "He said that he went out snowshoeing in those mountains before and had seen footprints that were larger and of much bigger stride than snowshoes would have been.
"He has seen unexplainable things as well."
Though some skeptics have expressed that maybe it was just a hunter in camouflage, the couple remains steadfast he saw the actual Bigfoot.
"It didn't look like a hunter because a hunter would have had a weapon like a bow since its bow season," Shannon explained. "It didn't seem to be carrying anything."
