Some people love Christmas, but this couple from Canada REALLY loves Christmas.
About 15 years ago, Tom Kereluk and Vince Jackman decorated the interior of their home with a modest 15 Christmas trees. The trees by the way were fully decorated; lights, ornaments, topper and all.
Well over the years, they've expanded.
This year, they've adorned their Red Deer home with 133, fully-decorated Christmas trees. The pair said many of the ornaments on the trees were donated by friends, family, and members of the public.
Kereluk told CTV News, "We're kind of hoarders at heart. I just can't throw anything out so I make trees that have stuff that I already have or I see something in a thrift store. I just create something from things that people would have thrown out."
Not only do Tom and Vince open their home to the public for tours to check out all their trees, they collect money to donate to the Central Alberta Humane Society.
They've dubbed the event "Sofia Celebrates Christmas," named after their beloved chihuahua, Sophia who died five years ago after years of health complications.
Jackman said, "Every Christmas, if you couldn't find her she was always underneath some of the Christmas trees. Laying there just underneath the tree on the Christmas mats."
