Our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning involves a couple, Dan and Shauna who have been married for four years, and a question of how they will be raising their first child.
Dan and Shauna grew up with different religions, one is Christian and the other is Jewish, and they do not know in which denomination they will be raising their child.
Now Shauna admitted that neither she nor Dan is particularly religious and aren't regular attendees to their respective places of worship, and she was very specific in her email not to mention what religion she or her husband practice, because she believes common thinking is to just have the children follow their father's religion.
So how do they decide which religion they're going to raise their child? Should they split time between both? How do they choose just one?
Can they let their kid decided for themselves when the become of an appropriate age, and what age would that be?
