Steak & Ale, the once popular restaurant chain with that incredible salad bar, closed its doors for good after filing for bankruptcy in 2008.
At least, that's what we all thought.
Though an announcement was made weeks about a revival of the chain, it was just announced this week that Steak & Ale would be making its official glorious return to North Texas, and building a new restaurant in Grand Prairie!
Grand Prairie mayor Ron Jensen told WFAA that the restaurant is planned to be located off of Interstate 30, and if all goes according to plan, is expected to open some time in 2024.
