There are few things worse as a parent than your baby having a blowout in their diaper and you have none to spare.
And we know a TON of parents with young children will be traveling over the next few weeks, so we can imagine this is going to happen a lot.
If you're traveling through Love Field or DFW Airport and, God forbid, this happens to you, be sure to look for the nearest Diaper Concierge.
This is essentially a diaper vending machine, and is a concept from Dallas finance attorney Erin England. It's something she wished was around when her now six-year-old daughter Alex was in diapers.
The Diaper Concierge machine hangs on a wall, has a touch screen and takes credit cards.
It has a selection of diapers ($3) in three sizes, a package of 10 wipes ($3), and hand sanitizer ($4). A shrink-wrapped, sanitized diaper package also includes a changing table cover and bag to dispose of the dirty diaper.
Along with DFW and Love Field, the Diaper Concierge is installed at Gerald L. Ford Stadium at Southern Methodist University.
England's goal is to have the Diaper Concierge installed at zoos, arboretums, museums, shopping malls, or any other high-traffic family friendly venues. Her ultimate goal would be to see the machine at Disney parks.
England said she fills the machines three times a week with generic diapers.
