We’ve already experienced some triple degree days here in North Texas, and though this cold front has been nice they will be returning soon in full force.

To help protect all of us from the extreme heat, the Dallas Zoo has made some alterations to its summer hours.

Through Friday, August 30, the zoo will be open daily from 8am to 3pm, with the last ticketed ticket entry during this period coming at 1pm.

According to WFAA, the zoo also installed dozens of new, permanent mister fans at six of its major habitats and locations.
