The guitar used by Eddie Van Halen in the music video for "Hot For Teacher" will soon be available for auction, where experts estimate the axe could fetch anywhere between $2 and $3 million.
The guitar is being sold through Sotheby's, who says it was originally gifted by Van Halen to retiring drum tech Gregg Emerson, who subsequently gave the guitar to his nephew, who sold it to Neal's Music in Huntington Beach, California.
Neal's Music then sold the instrument to its current owner.
