Sir Elton John concludes his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" July 8 in Stockholm, but that doesn't mean we will never see him on stage again.
Sir Elton clarified that though this mean an end to touring, he will never completely give up performing.
Music-News.com reports that the Rocketman said that "touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children," but added that "there may be the odd show..."
Sir Elton's farewell tour began back in 2018 and upon its conclusion, Sir Elton is expected to spend some much-needed time with his husband David Furnish and their sons Zachary, 12, and Elijah, 10.
Furnish recently told Your Money Map of their post-tour plans: "There are places I'd like to travel and take the boys. I have a real fascination and love of India… and our sons both want to go to the Antarctic, and Elton wants to go as well.
"I have no idea how to get there. Or what you do when you get there. But it's something that we can all do together, which is great."
