Last night against your Texas Rangers, New York Yankees star Aaron Judge slugged his 62nd home run of the year, breaking Roger Maris' mark of 61 home runs from back in 1961.

The lucky fan who caught the ball has some serious thinking to do, because experts agree that ball is worth quite the chunk of change.


Heritage Auction director of sports collectables Chris Ivy told CBS DFW the ball is easily worth "at least" $2 million.

Icy said, "There's already a bounty from another memorabilia dealer that I'm aware of for $2 million to get that, and you know, it could get more on the open market as well. But I do think that's a pretty strong number."

As for the fan who caught it, he says he currently has "no idea" what his plans are with the ball.

For his safety, he was rushed immediately out of Globe Life Field by security after snagging #62.
