A man who goes by @rethink35_atx on TikTok recently went viral and caused one of our most frustrating highways to trend nationally on Twitter after he highlighted what a weekend was like if you live in Austin.
The theme of the TikTok is simple: “There was traffic on I-35.”
The video was reposted on Twitter, with the addition of the simple caption: “This is a dystopia.”
Per WFAA, some of the responses to the video included: “SHOW ME ONE LIE,” and “There was traffic on I-35' is one remaining constant in Austin after decades of change. Only difference is you say that 24/7 now.”
However, there is at least ONE person who has rarely experienced traffic on I-35, “There was traffic on I35 being repeated so many times is hilarious cause the only time I never ran into traffic on I35 was at 1AM.”
So just leave for work at 1am, no matter what time you clock in, and you’re good!
