Jennifer Aniston did not mince any words while discussing a brand new generation of folks who are finding Friends a bit more offensive as most folks did when it was airing.
Aniston told AFP per Yahoo, "Comedy has evolved, movies have evolved. Now it's a little tricky because you have to be very careful, which makes it really hard for comedians, because the beauty of comedy is that we make fun of ourselves, make fun of life."
Friends aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004, which sounds like it's just fine for Aniston who believes kids today couldn't handle the type of humor they did back then.
She said, "There's a whole generation of people, kids, who are now going back to episodes of Friends and find them offensive.
"There were things that were never intentional and others… well, we should have thought it through — but I don't think there was a sensitivity like there is now."
In spite of this increased sensitivity, Aniston says we need comedy more than ever, now.
"Everybody needs funny! The world needs humour," she says. "We can't take ourselves too seriously. Especially in the United States. Everyone is far too divided."
