New York Jet’s quarterback Zach Wilson is caught up in a little off-the-field controversy that sounds like the dream of every high school boy in the country.
Wilson’s ex Abbey Gile recently revealed that she is now dating one of Wilson’s former best friends, and his former college roommate at BYU.
When a random person online accused Gile of being a “homie hopper,” and just jumping from friend to friend, Gile then threw out a haymaker and accused Wilson of not only cheating on her, but doing so by sleeping with one of his mom’s best friends!
In a since-deleted comment on Instagram, Gile wrote that Wilson “was sleeping with his mom’s best friend … that’s the real homie hopper,” along with two laughing emojis.
And because it’s the internet, memes regarding the issue have been flowing in full force since the accusation was made.
Per the New York Post, Wilson’s mom’s best friend has not been identified, and the quarterback does not appear to have commented on the rumor.
