Last night was one of the best Grammy shows I've seen in a long time. It wasn't the usual look of a packed auditorium and a glossy presentation, it was more organic. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a select number of guests were in attendance. Most performances were pre-recorded, and since many acceptance speeches were done virtually, there were obviously technical glitches. To me, that makes it all the more real and all the more funny.
Chrissy Teigen "reported" as John Legend thanked the Recording Academy for Best R&B Album in his bath robe. He's standing in the kitchen, mincing garlic when she taped him. They both cheer, and he even does a little booty shake at the end. Definitely one of the many highlights of the night!
