Last Saturday, 6-year-old Archer Foltermann received the chance MANY of us would love to have, and got to destroy parts of I-35 near Austin.
The Texas Department of Transportation partnered with Make-A-Wish Central and South Texas to let Foltermann, who is a leukemia survivor, push the button to implode two spans of the northbound Interstate 35 to northbound US 183 flyover.
According to KHOU, full reconstruction on a new flyover at the I-35/U.S. 183 interchange is expected to take four months.
