Yesterday we heard about the woman who was arrested after letting her 14-year-old daughter babysit her younger siblings.
Well somehow, we have a story today about an arrest that's even more frivolous.
Winchester Hagans of Auburn, Alabama was recently arrested for placing flowers on his late fiancé's grave.
Yes, you read that correct.
The official charge levied against Hagans is "littering," which the city, according to WTVY, told Hagans they only enforce, regarding flowers on a grave, if one of the deceased's family members ask for them to be removed.
Well one of his fiancé's family members did: her father. Hagans says her father Tom Ford signed the warrant for his arrest, and never contacted him before he was arrested.
Hagans says he just wants to honor his fiancés and "leave her with a beautiful flower box." He says he would build "a thousand flower boxes if he had to for the love of his life."
Ford was contacted for a comment, but has not responded yet.
