25-year-old David Dalesandro attempted to rob a convenience store in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this week, and he armed himself in order to do so.
His weapon of choice? The plastic gun from the classic Nintendo game Duck Hunt.

To his credit, Dalesandro didn’t use the weapon while it was still plugged in to a gaming system and did spray paint it black, and was able to score $300 from the cash register before making his getaway.
The clerk called the cops after the robbery, and Dalesandro was picked up by officers just down the street from the store.
According to WFSB, Dalesandro was booked on charges of armed robbery.
