63-year-old Mark Shell was sleeping on his pick-up on the side of the road last month in Ridgecrest, California when a couple of teens drove by and threw water balloons at his truck.
We get it that's really annoying and these teens should be found and made to stop, but at the end of the day it's just a little water right?
Well the impact from the balloons woke Shell up, and he noticed the teens were turning around to have another go at his truck, so he decided to respond in a completely appropriate and sane manner.
Not really. He grabbed his 12 gauge shotgun and fired some rounds into the teen's car! Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt; the driver of the vehicle only suffered "minor injuries."
Shell drove off according to Bakersfield Now, though police were able to catch up and arrest him.
Not only is Shell a convicted felon who is not allowed to have any guns, he is currently facing charges of shooting at an occupied vehicle, assault with a firearm, and attempted murder.
