
It's never a good idea to give the police a fake name, but if you do....you might want to make sure the fake name you give belongs to someone who doesn't have multiple felony warrants out for their arrest.
Police in Clam Lake Township, Michigan noticed a man driving last Friday night with his lights off, and when officers approached the vehicle, the driver tried to duck out of sight.
The cops asked for his information, and the driver, in an attempt to conceal his true identity, gave them a fake name. The officers ran the name, and unbeknownst to the driver, that fake name had multiple warrants out for their arrest!
According to Click on Detroit, the man was promptly was arrested, and as he was being handcuffed, police discovered he had 27 grams of meth on his person!
When the man with the fake name was taken to the police station, and fingerprints showed that he was not the man he told the cops he was, he was tacked on a charge of lying to an officer during a felony, on top of a felony drug possession charge, and others.
