A 50-year-old Florida man recently paid a small animal sanctuary $150 for a "full contact experience" with a black leopard.
Dwight Turner paid for the experience, but as soon as he stepped into the leopard's cage, he was MAULED! Turner's injuries were so severe, his scalp was "hanging from his head and his right ear was torn in half."
The owner of the animal sanctuary Michael Poggi was in fact licensed to have the leopard, but was not allowed to offer the contact experience.
Turner's attorney says that the entire experience was illegal, so any waiver his client may have signed before the event would be void. Attempts to speak to Poggi at his home have been unsuccessful.
