Florida man removed from flight after wearing women's panties on his face instead of a mask

Florida man Adam Jenne was kicked off a United Airlines flight Wednesday morning for refusing to follow the airline's mask policy.

Well, according to Jenne, he was in full compliance with the policy, as what he was covering his nose and mouth completely...by wearing a pair of women's panties.

Jenne explained on Fox 4 Now in Florida that he thinks airline's mask mandates are ridiculous, and wanted to "oblige" the law in a silly way to prove its absurdity.

He said, "There's nothing more absurd than having to wear a mask until I get to cruising altitude so that I can order Tito's by the double and snack on pretzels, and illustrating that absurdity by wearing women's underwear on my face sounds perfect."

Jenne says other passengers on the flight left with him to show solidarity.

A check of United's website says that masks "should not have any vents or openings and should fully cover your nose and mouth," and though Jenne believes he was following these guidelines, he also admitted this isn't the first time he's been kicked off a flight for similar actions.

He says he was asked to leave a Delta flight earlier this year for wearing underwear on his face instead of a mask.

A rep from United Airlines told the station, "The customer clearly wasn't in compliance with the federal mask mandate and we appreciate that our team addressed the issue on the ground prior to takeoff, avoiding any potential disruptions in the air."
