It appears what they say is true: no good deed goes unpunished.

A man is currently facing criticism after he left the waiter who served him a 200% tip, with some even calling his generous act "patronizing."

The man is TikTok user @RealKingKhang, a self proclaimed "multi-millionaire" who recently posted a video where he left a generous tip to a server while dining out on Valentine's Day.

Khang says in the clip, "I love doing this. Feels so good making someone's day."On a $46 bill, Khang let the waiter swipe the touch screen all the way to offer the maximum tip, 200% which amounted to $92.

While some did commend Khang for his generosity, others criticized him for filming the moment to post online. One person wrote, "Who cares. You're only doing it for content." Another, "If you felt the need to film this for internet clout it doesn't count."

Others accused him of being "patronizing" and "self-aggrandizing," and some have questioned if he's actually a multi-millionaire because he was eating at Olive Garden!

It appears, however, that Khang is taking it all in stride. He said in another video per the NY Post, "It doesn't matter how you live your life, you'll always be judged by somebody else. The best thing to do is ignore the noise and do and be you!"
