46-year-old Shawn Johnson of Beloit, Wisconsin was recently arrested after breaking into several vehicles, along the Wisconsin-Illinois border.
Johnson admitted to police that he broke into the initial pickup truck because A) he was on drugs, and B) he noticed a bag of Fritos laying in the front seat.
Depending on what drugs he was on Johnson may have been a little hungry, but he admitted to stealing the truck and driving it to a church parking lot where he broke into several other cars, stealing $400 from a wallet that was inside one of them, and using stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree at a Walgreens, Family Dollar, and McDonald's.
He admitted to the thefts after several security cameras caught him in the act.
According to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner, Johnson is facing charges of burglary, identity theft, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
