James Akers is a father of a student in the Dripping Springs School District in Dripping Springs, Texas who wanted it known how he feels about the mask mandate debate.
And he did that by stripping down to his underwear in the middle of a school board meeting. Akers told the shocked, though extremely amused, crowd, "It's simple protocol, people. We follow certain rules for a very good reason."
Akers told KXAN that he stripped down to his skivvies to prove a very simple point about social norms: "All these rules that we're given every day that we follow, because they make sense."
