Most of us have done dumb things in the past when we've had one too many drinks, right? Not an excuse for bad behavior, but it happens.
Well this Ohio man has found himself in such a predicament, though his "dumb thing" has led him to felony charges.
23-year-old Xavier Butner had been playing basketball and drinking early last Friday morning, when he found his way to the Bellaire Police Department.
For reasons only known to Butner, he started head-butting, elbowing, and body-slamming the station's glass door.
A tip from the public led police to Butner, and when he was confronted with the surveillance video the 23-year-old said, "Yeah, that's me. I do dumb things when I get drunk."
Butner was arrested on a charge of felony vandalism to government property. Damage to the door is estimated at $2500, according to WTRF.
