Usually when we hear a story about "Florida Man," it involves some nefarious deed that may or may not involve bath salts.  Although this Florida Man story doesn't involve anything illicit, it still might make you shake your head in disbelief.

A resident of Largo, FL named JD has made it his life's mission to collect one million copies of the 1997 film Titanic on VHS.

JD grew up loving the movie, telling ABC Action News, "You know, Titanic is best on VHS," said JD. "'September 1, 1998, take the voyage home,' that's what they were saying.  That's what I was playing on the VCR, I was watching this thing over and over and over again."

JD has a long way to go to hit a million copies, though.  His collection currently stands at 2,477 tapes, and he has asked for help in achieving his goal.

He's asking people to donate their spare copies to him, by mailing them to him, but for some reason he says you'll have to cover the shipping yourself.

If you want to participate, JD's address is P.O. Box 5355, Largo, Florida, 33779.
