Parents, no matter how cool you thought you used to be, or you currently are, your kids will be embarrassed by you.
Case in point Mark Wahlberg. The dude is undeniably cool.
He had a wildly successful music career and forayed that into an Academy Award-nominated acting career, and his kids still feel ashamed…notably of his fashion choices in the '90s.
In a recent interview with ET's Rachel Smith, when asked how his kids feel about his Marky Mark-era fashion choices, Wahlberg admitted, "Oh, they're terribly embarrassed by it."
Wahlberg even revealed that his son is embarrassed by anything he does NOW.
The actor said, "My son has just recently turned 16, and he gets embarrassed by everything I do. Even the stuff that people think is cool in 2022, like, movies and stuff. He's like, 'Dad, that's so dumb. Dad, that's terrible.'"
Wahlberg also noted however that his kids might be influenced by his fashion choices even if they don't realize it.
"My son, the whole time we were on summer break, doesn't have a shirt on and has his underwear hanging out. He totally stole the whole look," Wahlberg joked.
