Memorial Day is upon us, which provides the chance to focus and honor on all of the brave men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms.
Miles in the Morning were blessed with the opportunity to speak with Jacob Schick of 22Kill, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and combating suicide amongst our servicemen and women by "empowering veterans, first responders, and their families through traditional and non-traditional therapies."
22Kill will also be part of this weekend's Carry the Load event, dedicated to honoring the true meaning of Memorial Day, and "provide an active way to honor and remember our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, veterans, first responders and their families."
