It seems that the hottest look a dude can have these days is to grow a mustache, thanks solely to the film Top Gun: Maverick.
There’s one guy whose wife, however, was not about that look at all, and that guy is one of the stars of that very movie.
In an interview with People, Miles Teller revealed that his wife “immediately” made him save his signature ‘stache following the completion of filming Maverick.
Teller told the publication, “My wife made me shave it immediately [after filming]," he said with a laugh.
And although Teller’s wife Keleigh Sperry wasn’t too thrilled with the look, the 35-year-old loves the enthusiasm and hype the movie brought men to start sporting facial hair of their own.
Teller says, "[I'm a] big fan of it. If it makes them more confident, then more power to them. ... But we'll see, maybe it'll be a good summer trend and then die out."
