Our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning is something straight out of 90 Day Fiancé!
A 29-year-old woman is concerned because her 54-year-old mother is preparing to fly halfway across the world in order to meet a new, younger man.
Her dad passed away ten years ago, and her mom is lonely. She began chatting up this 35-year-old fella who lives in SPAIN, and has grown seriously enamored with him.
The mom is prepared to fly to Spain in order to meet this guy in-person, which has caused a great rift between the two.
Apparently, the mom received a TON of money from life insurance following her husband's death, and the daughter is worried this guy is wanting to take advantage of that.
It's devolved into fights between the two, with the mom even asking the daughter "Ok, who is the parent here? Because it sounds like you are trying to parent me."
And in their email, they attached a picture of the mom, and needless to say, she is very, very attractive, to the point where strangers confuse them for sisters, and this worries the daughter.
She worries that her mother is apt to be taken advantage of, and feels her flying to Spain to see a man she's never met before in person is a TERRIBLE idea.
What should the daughter do? Does she have any ground to stand on since it's her mother who's wanting to do all this? But is the mother acting careless flying across the world to see a younger man she's never met before in-person!?
