Technology is wonderful, but how far is too far?
Canadian man Joshua Barbeau recently paid $5 to use a beta test of the new GPT-3 AI software. The software compiled old text messages and Facebook posts of his recently deceased girlfriend and allowed him to "text" her.
Barbeau told the San Francisco Chronicle, "Intellectually, I know it's not really Jessica, but your emotions are not an intellectual thing."
Barbeau hopes this new technology will allow others who have lost loved ones to "find some closure."
