Six Flags wants to introduce you to its brand-new roller coaster.

It’s one of the park’s faster coasters, with top speeds of 63mph.  It features two 150-foot towers that will drop riders at a 90-degree angle.  And it all culminates with a big splashdown through a giant wave at the end of the ride.

It’s been a process a few years in the making, as the park was ready to introduce the public to “AQUAMAN: Power Wave” in 2020, but Covid delayed things until now.

However, both Six Flags and Aquaman are ready, and the ride is set to make its debut March 11th!

Richard Douaihy, president of Six Flags Over Texas said in a statement, “We are so excited to introduce AQUAMAN: Power Wave to legions of thrill seekers, and we feel that Spring Break is the perfect time for the grand opening of this epic new attraction.”

According to WFAA, AQUAMAN: Power Wave will be the park's 14th roller coaster, and the first to open since "The Joker" ride in 2017.
