We all have heard of the conspiracy theory that birds aren't real, right?
Well if you haven't, the theory maintains that birds are actually drones sent out by government agencies to spy on all of us.
Really, the theory is a satirical take on how misinformation can spread, and we are currently seeing that in action as we speak.
A theory that has apparently been popular for a decade states that cute, loveable pandas are in fact not real.
This theory started in Reddit back in 2014 and has now gained traction on TikTok, and states that pandas aren't in fact real creatures but are actually humans in suits.
Combined with the fact that many people believe that pandas have poor survival habits, considering their low libido and limited mating season which have contributed to their being an endangered species, have led people to believe they are, according to YourTango, "some sort of messed up lab experiment."
As with the "Birds Aren't Real" theory, it appears that this post was made in jest. Society just can't seem to handle a joke nowadays.
