Singer and television host Nick Lachey has been ordered by a judge to attend Anger Management courses and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings stemming from a 2022 incident where he accosted a paparazzo trying to take his photo.
Records obtained by Page Six show that in March, 2022 Lachey was charged with assault and battery against photographer Jody Santos, but didn’t receive any formal punishment until Santos reportedly hassled the Beverly Hills Police Department for months.

Santos explained, “He has to complete [anger management and AA] within a reasonable time, which is like a year or so.
“If he fails to do so, they will move forward to prosecute him with noncompliance and he will get arrested.”
On March 27, 2022, Santos spotted Lachey and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Lachey saw the paparazzo sitting in her car across the street taking photos and went ballistic, running over to her car and trying to grab her camera and phone through the passenger window.
“In all my years of photographing celebrities, no one has ever tried to hit me,” Santos said, adding that she tried to roll up the window “as fast” as she “could.”
