Though it started as a Texas treasure, Buc-ee's has seen an expansion across the United States but has yet to set up shop internationally.
They still haven't, but soon in Mexico, you may be able to get the next best thing.
Ramon Montelongo is opening an unofficial, off-brand Buc-ee's he's calling "BUK-II'S." The supermercado even features an unofficial, off-brand painting of the Buc-ee's beaver!
Montelongo told MySA.com that BUK-II'S will soon open for business in Matamoros Tamaulipas, about 10 minutes south of the Los Indios Texas International Bridge.
