The Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That... certainly started off with a bang, killing off one of the show's major characters.
*Spoilers* ahead if you have not seen the show.
During the first episode, Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth, whom married Carrie Bradshaw in the 2008 film, drops dead moments after unclipping from his Peloton bike.
According to Insider, following the release of the episode onto HBO Max, Peloton's stock prices actually dropped 11.3% overnight, peaking at $46.14 a share at the time of the episode's premiere Thursday night and falling to $38.51 by close on Friday!

It doesn't seem Peloton is too concerned, however.
They recently released an ad featuring Noth sitting in front of a cozy fireplace alongside Jess King, the Peloton instructor from the actual episode asking her, "Shall we take another ride? Life's too short not to."
And it's all topped off with an amazing voiceover from Ryan Reynolds where he says, "And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs, and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease."
